To star I' m trying to apply in an oxygen transport model, this model is kind of special because is a model that estimate the oxygen content on soil. This parameter can determinate the soil health, because is related to the soil respiration (that is the microbial and plant respiration). If the oxygen on soil is not enough, we will have a reduction of the agriculture production.
There is not easy to estimate the oxygen soil content, because it depends in a lot of soil parameters; like soil water content, soil porosity, bulk density, soil diffusivity an others. Until now I’m very concern because I don’t know so much of soil physics, so I need to learn in the least time possible and I think I need to put a lot of effort to understand all the relations that are in involved….; this work is a very hard challenge… but like I say long time ago, I’m very happy to be here, in this PhD program

Jose, I believe that you PhD thesis could help us to develop knowledge about of the oxygen behavior in soil under hypoxia and anoxia conditions. In addition, is important the interaction between root and root close atmosphere. Always, I have thought that the models are an excellent mechanism to analyze and estimate future behavior, but are very difficult of understanding for me. I hope that all your experimient have a good result. GOOD LUCK !!!!
